During all the season, Sub Plongée organizes diving days in Port-Cros.
The meeting of the sea and the land, of an island and its climate, a secular balance between ecosystems and man's occupation ; all this forms the biological diversity and the quality of the landscape of the islands of Hyères. They also form part of Natura 2000 Network, a European conservation label for natural habitats, wildlife and wild plants.
Neither wholly a reserve, nor a public garden, but a free and open nature park, available for activities which respect the characteristics of the area, and for scientific observation, the National Park of Port-Cros was created on the 14th December 1963. It is the pionner of both land and marine parks in the Mediterranean. In close conjuntion with it, the National Mediterranean Botanical Conservatory of Porquerolles has the task of safeguarding the wild plants and the endangered cultivated varieties of plant of the Mediterranean bassin.
